In his "Earth Matters" series, Antoine Remy endeavors to make us lose all notion of scale, by juxtaposing the very small and the immense, often mineral, always intriguing, and where man never has his place. . We are faced with surprising echoes between materials and contrasts. He thus strives to transcribe the majestic, pictorial and almost dreamlike dimension of nature. From grain of sand to immensity, he is in search of an earthly material to preserve. Fascinated by nature, the passions of travel and photography have always been closely linked in the work of Antoine Remy. For more than 10 years, he has been practicing landscape photography all over the world, from India to Alaska, from Iceland to Namibia. In recent years, his work has flowed naturally into increasingly minimalist shots, emphasizing earthly shapes, lines and textures.
