MARCELA ZEMANOVA

I am a Czech painter who lives in La Rochelle. In the past I studied Plastic Arts and in 2012 I finished a double doctoral course in Arts and Art Sciences at the Sorbonne in Paris and in Brno, in the Czech Republic. The thesis was entitled “Feminine Taboo in Contemporary Art” and studied the context of femininity in the work of women artists. This feminine theme has always been present in my works and accompanies my artistic feelings and emotions. By listening to the music and with my eyes closed, my ink drawings are born while keeping their freedom.
