KOALAKIMLAN

I am Mareva Kim-Lan, architect-watercolourist from Bordeaux with Vietnamese origins. I make architectural drawings, personalized watercolors, and even some murals. Often out and about, since curious to discover the universe that surrounds us, I am always accompanied by a small notebook during my wanderings. What I like with watercolor is its random and uncontrollable side which requires a certain letting go and a place for the unexpected. With the sketch on the spot, it's going to the essential that I appreciate. Painting is for me an ode to life. A simple desire to share the way I feel the world, with pleasure, gratitude, eyes wide open and brushes in hand!
